Mast Reforestation

Mast Reforestation, formerly DroneSeed, is a Seattle-based reforestation and carbon-removal company. It restores wildfire-affected forests from seed to seedling to planting, running the Silvaseed nursery (acquired in 2021) and Cal Forest Nurseries, the largest private nursery in California (acquired in 2022), and funds the work by selling carbon-removal credits from biomass burial projects such as its MT1 Wood Preserve in Montana. The company was founded as DroneSeed by Grant Canary, who remains chief executive, and took the Mast Reforestation name in March 2023.
